Q: When did you join No Bolt?
BT: I joined in August 2018.
Q: What were you doing before you joined No Bolt?
BT: Living, working and travelling throughout North America and Asia.
Q: What did you study at university?
BT: I completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Materials and Mathematics) at Monash University.
Q: What is your role at No Bolt?
BT: My role is Sales Engineer.
Q: What segments do you look after?
BT: I’m across most of the segments, but I have a focus on Fixed-Wing Aviation and Rail.
Q: What is the most challenging project you have delivered?
BT: The most challenging project was for Downer delivering the D-Class Tram Internal Platforms used to refurbish the trams. The platforms sat inside the trams as a mezzanine floor with precise cut-outs and completely bolt-together structure. It was a very complex design but extremely rewarding to see it fit perfectly.
Q: What do you do when you’re not at No Bolt?
BT: I enjoy skiing, swimming and travelling.
Q: What has been the most interesting project you have delivered?
BT: Developing a modular Trailer Walkway System for Schmitz Cargobull. We manufactured a complete wraparound system that can be manipulated to accommodate any length of trailer size.
Q: What are you working on now?
BT: Currently I am conducting inspections for the height safety and access equipment that are within the Westgate Bridge, in Tram yards as well as developing access solutions for several clients around Australia.
